PROJECTS

ALHAZAA PV PROJECT
16,5 MWp PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR PLANT

The solar photovoltaic installation is located in Jordan, near the town of Al-Zumailah, 26,5 kilometers south of the Queen Alia International Airport.

This is a 16,8 MVA (16,5 MWp) rated power grid photovoltaic solar power plant, which will produce electricity by transforming solar energy captured by solar panels with a power of 16.5 MWp placed on east-west axis solar trackers. The electrical installation will consist of the connection of the solar panels with the inverters for the conversion of direct current to alternating current, which will be injected into the grid in medium voltage by transformers.

The panels will form strings, groups of 20 panels connected in series. The strings will be joint in string boxes, and the outputs of these to main connection boxes (MCB), for their connection with the inverters. In total there will be 2.540 strings and 165 stringboxes.

Eight (8) inverters with a power of 2.10 MVA each will be installed. Each inverter consists of six (6) units of 350 KVA and will have integrated a transformer that will raise the voltage from 390 V to 33 kV.

Inverters will be joint by an underground medium voltage line in order to inject power into the grid at QAIA NEPCO substation.

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT REGION OF MURCIA
4,5 Mwp PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR PLANT

The results are above those expected in terms of annual production, reaching an average annual figure of 6,5 GWh, an average annual performance of more than 79%, and perfectly complying with the electrical parameters for which it was designed. SOL9 has been performing the functions of operation and maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of the facilities, following the quality and environmental manuals, and complying with the requirements established in the airport premises in relation to occupational health and safety.

In total, the solar installation or “electricity factory” already accumulates more than 35 million kWh injected into the electrical system, and 100% operational for the next 25 years.

UNIVERSITY OF MURCIA
PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR INSTALLATION

Installation of 2.35 MWp / 2.2 MW located in the Espinardo Campus of the University of Murcia, divided into 3 subplants.

This installation means for the University of Murcia an energy saving of 15% of its global needs.
